The first doping case of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics has been discovered, International Olympic Committee sources said on Sunday night.
The IOC's executive board heard the case as soon as it was brought to members' attention. It is not yet known who was named in the case and what action would be taken.
An IOC source said it did not involve an athlete who had won a medal in the Games, which are entering their 10th day.
"The full details will be released tomorrow [Monday]," the IOC source said.
