The Automobile Association has urged motorists to shop around for their petrol after its latest survey showed wide price differences from one garage to the next.
The AA's public affairs manager, Mr Conor Faughan, said that for premium unleaded their survey showed prices ranging from 53.8p to 61.9p per litre. "This is a difference of 7p between one service station and the next. This can save you £3.50 on a single fill".
