The teenagers killed on a Co Wicklow road yesterday were named last evening by Gardaí.
Stephanie Mc Cawley, (15) of Lower Kilmagig, Avoca and Venessa Byrne (13), Avoca were killed near their home village when they were struck by a tractor trailer while waiting to cross the road.
The girls were outside a sweet shop waiting to cross the road with their bicycles when a tractor with a trailer full of hay collided with them.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
