Wembley was today confirmed as the site for the new English national stadium.
The new stadium, which could cost as much as £700 million sterling, has been the subject of numerous political and financial problems recently.
The Football Association, Sport England and the Government confirmed they will to go with the amended design of Wembley.
The announcement was supposed to be made on Monday but last minute discussions meant it was delayed until today.
