Claims that a search warrant had an incorrect name, an amended address and did not carry details of the goods being sought by gardai were not "fatal defects", the Court of Criminal Appeal decided yesterday.

Veronica Balfe, of Forest Hills, Rathcoole, Dublin lost her appeal against her conviction in February, 1996 for handling stolen property.
