The British government has advertised in Britain and Northern Ireland seeking the views of members of the public on the future need for counter terrorism legislation "once peace has become established in Northern Ireland."

The inquiry is to be carried out by Lord Lloyd of Berwick, assisted by Sir Brian Kerr, a Northern Ireland High Court judge. People are invited to write to Lord Lloyd at PO Box 9998, London SWIH 9ZB.
