The victim of Monday night's fatal stabbing in Co Kildare has been named as Mr Patrick Galvin. Mr Galvin (50) was married with four children. He came from Tipperary but had been living in Kildare for some time. He was found with stab wounds at his home in St John's Place, Newbridge.
A 38-year-old woman who was held for questioning was released yesterday without charge. Gardai said a file would be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
