The value of carrying an organ donor card was highlighted last night at the launch of a tribute CD for Ms Celina Clynch who died last year. The 21-year-old singer's organs were donated to three seriously ill patients who are now in good health.
Ms Clynch from Dunsany, Co Meath, died after a car crash on the night she was to make her debut as a full-time singer with The Shuffle. Yesterday, the band and a host of musicians and singers launched the CD, Dear Celina. Proceeds will go to the kidney unit in Beaumont Hospital.
