New York - The United States has returned hundreds of artifacts that were part of the largest theft of antiquities from Greece in 1990, the FBI said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York said the stolen artifacts, including a rare 5th century B.C. marble head of a young man known as Kouros and a marble statue of the god Pan, were recovered by agents in Miami in September 1999.
