Unemployment levels in Northern Ireland have fallen again, according to new government figures released today.

The latest Labour Force statistics show the number of people out of work and claiming Jobseekers Allowance dropped by 500 last month after seasonal adjustments.

The jobless total now stands at 40,000, or 5.2 per cent of the workforce.

Industrial output estimates also released today showed production levels in Northern Ireland has risen by nearly 3 per cent compared to a year ago.
