United Nations - The UN yesterday named a Togolese Supreme Court judge and a Zimbabwean prosecutor to head a new human rights investigation into alleged massacres of Rwandan refugees in President Laurent Kabila's Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The UN Secretary-General, Mr Kofi Annan, did not give a starting date for the controversial mission. - (Reuter)
