A senior Orangeman has admitted he was shocked by pictures of a UFF colour party marching at a Twelfth parade in Co Antrim. Mr John McCrea, secretary of the Grand Orange Lodge, has promised an investigation into the matter.

A picture of the colour party parading in Randalstown, Co Antrim appeared in the issue of the local Newtownabbey Times. Men in military style uniforms were shown carrying a banner inscribed with "Ulster Freedom Fighters South East Antrim".

The SDLP has criticised the Order over the march but Mr McCrea said he did not believe the UFF men were part official parade.
