Two women were rescued yesterday evening after being trapped for 26 hours on Donegal mountains. An Air Corps helicopter rescued them from Slieve League, near Carrick.
Ms Siobhan Ryder and Ms Sarah Meehan, both in their early 20s and from Dun Laoghaire, were taken to Sligo General Hospital where one of them is believed to be suffering from hypothermia.
