Jonathan Cummins (21), of Watermill Lawns, Tallaght, Dublin, and Clyde O'Connor (21), of Glenview Park, also in Tallaght, pleaded guilty in Dublin District Court to assaulting Mr Stephen Curry at the Spawell Leisure Complex on September 9th last.

Judge William Early said: "In the normal course of events, I would give a jail sentence for an outrageous assault like this", but in view of Mr Curry's attitude, he remanded the two accused to February 25th for £500 compensation each.
