Two men have been detained at Naas Garda station in connection with the murder of two men whose bodies were recovered from the Grand Canal in January. The men, aged 18 and 23, were arrested in west Dublin early yesterday under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
The detentions bring to 29 the number arrested in connection with the murders. Patrick Murray (19) and Darren Carey (20), both from Ballyfermot, were believed to have been murdered by a west Dublin drugs gang.
