Two men were arrested by the RUC yesterday after a stabbing incident inside the courthouse in Craigavon. It is understood an inquest had been held in the building, and as a man was on the stairway on his way out two men approached and, according to the police, allegedly inflicted a severe facial injury. The victim was taken to hospital.
The RUC said the two men they arrested were being questioned about an alleged attempted murder. The man who was injured is understood to have been one of the witnesses at the inquest concerning the death of a girl.
