Two Co Limerick men have died in a motorcycle accident in the Philippines.

Two Co Limerick men have died in a motorcycle accident in the Philippines.

They were named as Mr Sean Grace (27), from Garrydoolis, Pallasgreen, and Mr Kieran Cribbin (23), Graigue, Adare.

They were both engineers working for Siemens commissioning a power plant in the Philippines.

The accident occurred on Friday night outside the capital, Manila, when their motorcycle was in collision with a bus.

Mr Grace is understood to have died at the scene, and Mr Cribben, who was a pillion passenger, died in hospital on Sunday night.

Mr Grace is survived by his widowed mother, May, three brothers and a sister.

He had been working in the Philippines since June.

Mr Cribben was the son of Kathleen and Kieran Cribben and had worked in the Philippines since January last.

The remains are being brought home for burial.
