Gardaí are continuing to question two men in connection with a stabbing in Dublin city this morning in which a man in his early twenties was injured.

The incident took place near Chancery Place, Dublin 1, just after 10 a.m.

The injured man was taken to the Mater Hospital. His condition is not serious.

A third man arrested at the scene has now been released.

The two men are being held at the Bridewell station.
