Rome - Two US military personnel were missing in the sea off north-east Sicily last night after their helicopter crashed, a spokesman for the US Sixth Fleet said.
The helicopter, a CH-46, was attached to US supply ship Sirius. It had just delivered supplies to US destroyer USS Stump when the crash happened, he said. The conditions were drizzly and foggy at the time.
