Two people have been killed in separate road incidents this morning.
A man in his mid-twenties was fatally injured when his car went out of control on Green Road South in Kildare town this morning. The incident occurred at 9.15.
Earlier, a woman in her early twenties died following a road traffic incident on the Ennis Road in Limerick.
The incident involving two cars happened at 3.30 a.m.
Three people also involved in the incident are in Limerick Regional Hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.
