A 19-year-old man has been admitted to hospital after being shot in both legs in a paramilitary style attack near Belfast.

A 19-year-old man has been admitted to hospital after being shot in both legs in a paramilitary style attack near Belfast.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds to each leg in a shooting incident in Typsnan Drive in Monkstown last night after 8 p.m.

Yesterday a 24-year-old man was treated in hospital after he was pulled into an alley at Maple Gardens in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim and shot in the right leg.
