Police in Northern Ireland are today continuing to question two people in connection with a kidnapping and robbery in Belfast last week.

A 64-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested last night, the PSNI said.

Police have examined a vehicle at Adelaide Street which is believed to have been used in the robbery.

During the raid, a woman and her two sons were held hostage in west Belfast while the woman's partner was  escorted to his workplace where he was ordered to take money from a safe.
