Two for court over alleged assault on plane

Two men are due to appear in Dublin District Court over an alleged assault on board an Aer Arann plane yesterday.

Two men are due to appear in Dublin District Court over an alleged assault on board an Aer Arann plane yesterday.

The two are understood to have been involved in an incident shortly after 3 p.m. while the aircraft, which was bound for Cork, was on its stand at Dublin Airport.

An Aer Arann captain is said to have suffered a broken nose and another man was also injured in the incident.

Both men are to be charged under the Non Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.
