Two fishermen were rescued today after their vessel got into trouble two miles off the Cork coastline.

Two fishermen were rescued today after their vessel got into trouble two miles off the Cork coastline.

The Baltimore lifeboat was called out at midday to rescue the 24-ft vessel which got into trouble after it was caught in a 5-6 metre swell.

The vessel was escorted to safety by the lifeboat to the north harbour at Cape Clear.
