Oasis will play two concerts in Dublin's Point Theatre on Thursday, December 4th, and Friday, December 5th, writes Kevin Courtney. Some 16,000 tickets for the two shows go on sale nationwide at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 8th. Tickets for these concerts, sponsored by The Irish Times, are £21 including booking fee.
The last time the chart-topping Manchester band performed in Ireland was in August 1996, when they played in Cork's Pairc Ui Cuiv.
"These will be the fastest selling shows in Irish entertainment history," said a spokesman for MCD, the promoters of the concerts.
