Two people have died in road crashes in counties Roscommon and Louth.
A 63-year-old man died after being struck by a car at Elphin in Co Roscommon early this morning. Gardaí have asked witnesses to contact them at Boyle Garda station on 071-9664620.
In Ardee, Co Louth a 73-year-old woman died in a two-car collision last night.The driver of the other car is being treated for minor injuries at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The N2 remains is closed and diversions are in place.
