Two men have been killed in a Co Kerry crash early this morning.

Two men have been killed in a Co Kerry crash early this morning.

The incident happened at 12.20am when the vehicle hit a wall on the N22 Killarney-to-Tralee road and went on fire.

Gardaí have not named the victims.

The area in the townland of Doonryan has been closed off for technical examination.

The bodies have been taken to Kerry General Hospital. It is understood dental records were being used to identify the victims.

Traffic diversions are in place, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
