Two charged with manslaughter

Mr Fergal Cagney (19), a student from Greenacres, Kildromin, Kiltealy, Co Limerick, and Mr Ronan McGrath (18), unemployed, from Deerpark Road, Castle knock, Dublin, were both charged with the manslaughter of Mr David Langan (19), from Castleknock, at Portobello on August 25th.

They were also charged with endangerment under the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act. Mr McGrath was further charged with threatening to kill Mr Langan.

Judge Mary Collins remanded them on continuing bail to appear again in Dublin District Court on October 31th.
