Rotterdam - Two Dutch men were charged yesterday with manslaughter for their part in the deaths of 58 Chinese immigrants found suffocated in the back of a truck in the British port of Dover, court officials said.

Mr Lammert Nijveen (56), and Mr Haci Mustafa Demir (28), were charged with not ensuring there was sufficient oxygen in the Dutch-registered container truck where the bodies of the illegal immigrants were found on June 19th.
