A man is seriously injured in hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Co Down.
The victim, aged in his early 20s, and a friend were hit at the Greenbank roundabout, Newry, at around 8.15pm yesterday by a silver car that failed to stop.
The second man's injuries are not life threatening.
