Ankara - Turkey's conservative opposition, the True Path Party, yesterday filed a censure motion against the Public Works Minister, Mr Yasar Topcu, over alleged corruption in road tenders in the Black Sea region.

Under Turkish parliamentary tradition, the coalition government, led by the Prime Minister, Mr Mesut Yilmaz, is obliged to resign if it loses a censure vote against a minister. It was not clear when the vote would take place.
