Flachau - The death toll in Austria's tunnel inferno remained unclear yesterday as police prepared to start a detailed technical inquiry to determine the cause of the blaze and the number of casualties.
Firefighters said they had so far located only one body, but they feared more people had died in the Tauern motorway tunnel on Saturday. The fire started on Saturday morning when a truck crashed into a car.
