Two fishery inspectors have been returned for trial on charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Two fishery inspectors have been returned for trial on charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Mr Edward Haley, of Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny, and Mr Edward Casey of Carrickon Suir, Co Tipperary, were returned at Waterford District Court yesterday on two charges related to offences allegedly committed between 1987 and 1993.

The two men were remanded on their own bail to appear in Waterford Circuit Court on November 12th.
