Montreal - The actor John Travolta is in Quebec filming Battlefield Earth, based on a book by the Church of Scientology founder, Mr Ron Hubbard.
Himself a Scientologist, Travolta described the novel as "a great book of science-fiction" and told reporters that he has wanted to adapt it to the big screen since he read it in 1984.
