Tory `grey green' challenged

The pressure group Friends of the Earth entered the election debate yesterday, branding as a "failure" 18 years of Tory environmental policy. In a document published today - Greyer than Green: The Tories and the Environment - FoE said the party's "green rhetoric and sometimes proactive green decision making have masked widespread policy failure".
