Three anti drug campaigners from Tallaght, Co Dublin, remanded at Rathfarnham District Court yesterday for serving of the book of evidence. All three accused elected for trial by judge and jury.

A crowd with placards gathered outside the court in support of the three. They are Mr Denis Brunt (43), of Donamore Park, Mr Cecil Johnston (40), of Donamore Crescent, and Mr Michael Warner (40), of Knockmore Park. The three are charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding a man at Donamore Avenue, Tallaght, on October 8th.

Mr Brunt and Mr Johnston were remanded on continuing bail until December 16th. Mr Warner was remanded in custody to Rathfarnham on the same date.
