Three people have been killed in a train crash near Frankfurt in Germany.

Three people have been killed in a train crash near Frankfurt in Germany.

Police said 13 people were injured, six of them seriously, when a regional train hit a construction crane vehicle and derailed early today.

German news agency dapd reported that the dead were the passenger train’s conductor and two construction workers present at the site near the town of Muelheim.

Authorities had no immediate information on what caused the crash.
