Third man charged in connection with Portuguese death

A third man has been charged in connection with the death of Portuguese man Mr Sergio Abreu (45) in Co Waterford.

A third man has been charged in connection with the death of Portuguese man Mr Sergio Abreu (45) in Co Waterford.

Mr Abreu's body was found on the morning of Saturday, September 7th at Clashanahy in Ardmore, County Waterford.

Stuart James Spicer (27) was arrested in Wexford yesterday and appeared today before Tallow District Court in County Waterford. He was remanded in custody by sitting Judge David Riordan and he will appear again at the District Court at Cashel, County Tipperary next Wednesday.

Two other men have also been charged in connection with the death and they also appeared in court today. Mr Stephen Joab (30), and Mr Graham Turnbull (35), who are both Scottish, have been charged with assault causing harm to Mr Sergio Abreu. They were remanded to appear before Youghal District Court next Thursday.
