Ms Mary O'Malley (president): Married with six children, she lives in Dublin and became president of the IASA at the beginning of this year, having been involved in the sport for many years. Her family is involved in swimming.

Ms Pat Donovan (secretary): A housewife with one child, she has been involved in the sport for many years and has travelled widely with Irish teams. She was previously secretary of the Munster branch.

Mr Wally Clark (treasurer): Married with two children, he has a background in water polo. He filled Mr Ray Kendall's position when Mr Kendall moved on to become an official in FINA, the international governing body of swimming.

Ms Betty Beaty (Ulster): From Lisburn, she is a teacher. She has been an Ulster and IASA team manager. She is chairwoman of the Irish selectors.

Mr Richard Byrne (Leinster): A relative newcomer, he is married with four children. He is a Kilkenny Swimming Club member.

Ms Ronnie Ball (Connacht): From Galway, she is married with a family.

Mr Don Mahon: From Waterford, he is a retired employee of Waterford Crystal. He is a frequent manager of teams on trips abroad.

Ms Alice McKibbin: From Belfast, and married with six children, she has been involved for many years and is secretary of the Ulster Branch.

Mr Rody McRandal: Born in Dublin, but living in Connacht, he works as a teacher

Mr George Smith: Married with four children, he is also a grandfather. He has been involved in the sport for many years and is a member of Otter SC in Dublin, with a main interest in diving.
