Russian President Mr Vladimir Putin said today "terrorism has not been excluded as the cause" of the crash of a Russian airliner in the Black Sea, with 76 people onboard.

"Today a tragic event has happened to us," Mr Putin told a meeting of European justice ministers at the Kremlin. "A civilian aircraft crashed today, and terrorism has not been excluded as the cause".
