Colourful, loud and lively," that's what Face Up, a new monthly magazine for teenagers in the 15-to-18 age bracket will be, says its editor, Father Gerry Moloney.

Published by Redemptorist Publications, Face Up will be challenging while exploring serious issues in a sensitive and balanced way, he says.

The motto will be: "For teens who want something deeper."

"We are excited about Face Up. We think it offers Irish teens something different, something deeper, that it will be a wonderful companion and resource as they negotiate their way through the often turbulent teenage years . . . It will be a valuable resource for teachers, catechists, parents and clergy who wish to help young people engage seriously with social, personal and religious issues in a language they understand," Father Moloney said.
