The Fine Gael TD, Mr Michael Ring, has welcomed Iarnrod Eireann's decision to issue disabled passengers with free return journey tickets to prevent queuing. Previously disabled travellers were entitled to single journey tickets and had to queue at both stations for free tickets.
Mr Ring described the policy change, to be in place for six months, as a victory for common sense and the right to fair play for the disabled.
