A taximan was threatened, robbed and had his taxi hijacked in Dublin last night.
He picked up two men on River Road, Finglas and was threatened with an implement from behind shortly after driving off.
The assailants stole €120 before making the driver get out of the car. The car was later found burnt out at Dubber Cross, Finglas, according to a Garda spokesman.
The driver was shocked but otherwise uninjured. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital.
