Talks aimed at settling the Dunnes Stores strike were continuing early this morning, with sources refusing to speculate on whether agreement would be reached.
The talks, at the offices of the accountancy firm Oliver Freaney and Co in Dublin, began yesterday afternoon.
The Fianna Fail spokesman on labour affairs, Mr Tom Kitt, called for a speedy conclusion to the negotiations. "Time is running out for a lot of small suppliers who have been severely hurt as a result of this strike," he said.
