Havana - A senior member of Britain's Labour government held a `superb" marathon meeting with President Fidel Castro into the early hours of yesterday, saying afterwards Cuba's leader was sharp, witty and showed no signs of senility.

The Trade Minister, Mr Brian Wilson, said that Britain had "no hangups at all" about promoting economic ties with Cuba.
