Sunderland full-back Stephen Wright won his battle against an ankle ligament injury and was named in the starting line-up for today's FA Cup semi-final against Millwall at Old Trafford.

Striker Kevin Kyle recovered from a bout of gastroenteritis to start alongside Tommy Smith, who missed out on the semi-final last year with Watford.

John Oster returned from a hamstring injury, but Jeff Whitley missed out through suspension while Darren Byfield was ineligible.

Player/manager Dennis Wise named himself in Millwall's XI for their first FA Cup semi-final in 67 years, and he also recalled Paul Ifill to the starting line-up.
