Work at the Dublin Port Tunnel has been suspended after subsidence was reported this morning.
Iarnrod Eireann ordered the suspension amid concerns about the safety of the rail line around Fairview Park.
Iarnrod Eireann spokesman Mr Barry Kenny said an investigation is now under way. He gave no indication to how long the supension would last.
