SEVERAL student and "special saver" train fares are to be increased from today, Iarnrod Eireann has confirmed. Mainline and weekend rates will remain the same. The return special saver fares on the Dublin Sligo, Dublin Waterford and Dublin Rosslare rail routes are to rise by £1, while student travel save and under 26 rates are to increase by 50p.
