Shop stewards at Dunnes Stores are meeting tomorrow to consider balloting the workforce for industrial action because the company has failed to honour the Labour Court recommendations that settled last year's strike.

Four weeks ago Dunnes Stores workers voted by more than nine to one to reject the latest offer from the company.

Members of the Marine Port and General Workers Union (MPGWU), the smallest in the company, have voted for a strike but deferred action at the request of the ICTU.
