Five hundred energy efficient and solar energy homes will bed built in Ireland by 1998, under' the EU Thermie energy promotion programme.
Announcing the results of the programme for 1995, the Minister of State at the Department of Energy, Mr Emmet Stagg, said the housing programme was one of six projects approved for funding under the programme last year, at a cost of £18 million.
